Center of Research in Networks and Telecommunications (CoReNeT) at M. A. Jinnah University, Islamabad aims to foster the research and development activity in the rapidly growing field of networks and telecommunications. By bringing together academic experts, highly skilled professionals and intelligent, enthusiastic learners, it explores and disseminates advanced knowledge in networking. Through investment in human minds, it endeavors to promote human resource development in the area of behind the scene technology, which is making today's information revolution possible. At M. A. Jinnah University, CoReNeT team is working on many R&D projects in collaboration with various organizations and was also able to obtain significant research funding which shows a confidence in expertise and dedication of the team. |

CoReNeT team comprises of two faculty members, two external collaborators, five PhD students and eight graduate students. The group is working in diverse research areas within the domain of wired and wireless mobile networks. The group has obtained two research grants from ICT R&D Fund, worth Rs. 30 million, for two of its projects and is actively pursuing other research projects in collaboration with national and international organizations. It is also conducting and facilitating technical workshops and seminars and also provides short trainings on technical and management topics. |
